The Power of YOU, fall 2006 included a panel of presenters on
various subjects from enviro-friendly homebuilding to yoga. Sounds of
the didgeridoo, the powerful voice of Andrea Graham and the
spectacular production of "Breathe" dance be SoulFunction. Again, it
was an awakening of consciousness
and empowerment through personal growth, intuitive development and holistic
healing and rise of consciousness within our own communities to those
far beyond.

AWARE.
The Global Warming issue affects us
all
Humans are having a huge impact on
the world's climate and it is not science
fiction, it is today's reality and news. Global warming, also referred
to as
climate change, is caused by pollutants that trap heat and has driven
the
average global temperature up by 0.7° Celsius (C) since the Industrial
Revolution. This is the fastest rate of warming the world has seen in
the
last 10,000 years.
Proceeds benefit AWARE in their efforts at keeping things cool. Global warming is going
to lead to massive changes in Canada, as well as in
many other parts of the world. We need to prevent such changes from
happening by keeping global warming below the danger threshold of 2° C
above
pre-industrial levels.
